A low‑viscosity, crystal‑clear resin formulated to self‑level, deeply wet‑out wood grain, and deliver a flawless, high‑gloss finish.
Key Applications:
- Clear top‑coats and barrier finishes on decks, furniture, and bar tops
- Fibreglass or veneer lamination over timber substrates
- Mould‑making and casting decorative wood inserts
Technical Highlights:
- Mix Ratio: 2 parts Resin: 1 part Hardener (by volume or weight)
- Viscosity: ~807 cP at 25 °C for smooth flow and minimal bubbles
- Pour Depth: Up to 20 mm per layer; build in multiple passes to avoid excessive exotherm
- Clarity & UV Stability: Ultra‑clear, low‑yellowing finish with UV inhibitors to maintain colour
- Adhesion: Excellent bond to timber, plywood, MDF, and composite wood products
- Mechanical & Chemical Resistance: Impact‑ and abrasion‑resistant; withstands household chemicals and moisture
- Working Time: ~25 – 35 minutes at 25 °C
- Cure Schedule: Surface tack‑free in 6 – 8 hours; full cure in 48 hours

For bubble‑free, ultra‑clear finishes, we recommend Clearpox Ultra Clear or EP4010 – Ultra‑Clear Timber Coating & Laminating Epoxy 2:1 rather than EP4020.
