How to Use:
For Tube Application:
- Ensure surfaces are clean and dry.
- Pierce each tube with the built-in spike.
- Dispense equal parts onto a disposable surface and mix thoroughly. The mixed glue remains usable for 3-5 minutes at 20°C.
- Apply to both surfaces and join together.
- Avoid strain on the bond for 30 minutes. Hold join in place using tape or weights if necessary.
- Maximum strength is reached after 16 hours.
- Clean uncured adhesive with acetone (nail polish remover).
For Syringe Application:
- Prepare and clean surfaces.
- Remove the cap and cut the sealed tips.
- Dispense equal amounts and mix thoroughly.
- Apply mixed epoxy to both surfaces and press together.
- Allow 30 minutes for initial bonding; full cure in 16 hours.
- Replace cap for storage and clean excess with acetone.
Handy Tips:
• Mix in small batches to extend working time, as larger quantities accelerate curing. • Ensure caps are replaced correctly to prevent hardening inside the tube. • Once cured, remove epoxy using mechanical action like scraping or sanding—solvents will not dissolve it. • Allow longer bonding times in colder temperatures. • Bond strength softens above 60°C but is regained once the temperature returns to normal. • To reposition the bond once cured, heat the item to 150°C to soften the epoxy, scrape off excess, reposition, and allow to cool. • Clamping is recommended for a stronger bond.
Cleanup & Storage:
• Uncured epoxy can be cleaned with acetone. • Cured epoxy can be softened with heat for easier removal.
