EpoxyPro EP90 Film, Prop & Creative Shaping Epoxy System 2:1

The EpoxyPro EP90 Series is a specialized 2:1 clear epoxy system engineered specifically for film and television prop making, theatrical models, cosplay elements, and artistic sculpturing. Unlike standard deep-pour casting resins, EP90 is formulated specifically for precision surface work, brush-on layering, freehand shaping, and high-clarity detail reproduction.

Available in two targeted viscosities, the EP90 platform gives prop masters and creative fabricators full control over fine silicone mold detail work through to non-sag foam coating, edge sculpting, and structural repairs.

Formula Guide: Choose Your EP90 Viscosity

1. EP9010 – Low Viscosity Moulding & Fine Detail Props (~800 cP)

Formulated with a fluid, high-flow consistency designed to capture intricate textures and fine details in silicone molds. EP9010 releases air bubbles effortlessly, making it the ideal choice for thin-walled prop castings, clear brush-on surface layers, and embedding delicate artistic features.

  • Best For: Film props, costume elements, detailed silicone mold casting, face-pour casts, and protective clear surface encapsulation.
  • Key Highlights: Low viscosity (~800 cP), rapid bubble release, workable ~25–35 minute pot life, touch-dry in 24–30 hours.

2. EP9020 – Mid Viscosity Sculpting, Shaping & Repair Epoxy (~8,867 cP)

Engineered with an increased body for controlled brush application, freehand shaping, and structural repairs. EP9020 stays in place on vertical profiles and contours without running, making it ideal for reinforcing EPS foam props, filling surface voids, and rebuilding damaged prop edges.

  • Best For: Coating foam-backed props, edge rebuilding, void filling, sculpting surface details, and structural composite repairs.
  • Key Highlights: Mid viscosity (~8,867 cP), non-slump body, excellent adhesion to rigid foams/composites, sands and polishes cleanly.
