How StoneFusion White Works

StoneFusion White is a two-part epoxy resin system consisting of Part A (Resin) and Part B (Hardener), mixed at a ratio of 2:1 by volume.

Once thoroughly mixed, the epoxy is applied to a clean, dry and properly prepared surface using a suitable spreader, roller or application tool.

The mid-viscosity formulation allows the resin to be distributed evenly across the surface while providing sufficient body for decorative coating applications.

For solid white finishes, StoneFusion White can be applied directly over compatible prepared substrates. For decorative applications, compatible metallic powders and contrasting colours can be incorporated to create custom veining, marble patterns and stone-inspired effects.

Grey, gold, silver and black veining effects can be used to create striking contrasts against the white background, producing finishes inspired by natural marble, quartz and granite.

Once cured, StoneFusion forms a hard, smooth and glossy surface with a brilliant white appearance.

Suitable Substrates

StoneFusion White can be applied to a variety of properly prepared surfaces, including timber, plywood, MDF, existing laminate benchtops, concrete and compatible decorative surfaces.

Surface preparation, sealing and adhesion testing are recommended before application to ensure the best possible results.

Creating a Marble or Granite Effect with Stone Fusion Countertop Epoxy

Achieving a marble or granite-like finish involves a combination of careful preparation, colour layering, and creative techniques. Follow this step-by-step guide to craft your perfect epoxy table.

Before starting, make sure you have the following items:

  • Stone Fusion Countertop Epoxy
  • Mixing containers and stir sticks
  • Epoxy pigments (white, black, gray, or custom colours for marble or granite)
  • Heat gun or torch
  • Painter’s tape
  • Protective gloves and drop cloths
  • Sand the table surface to ensure proper adhesion.
  • Clean thoroughly to remove dust and grease.
  • Tape off edges to control the flow of epoxy and protect surrounding areas.
  • Measure and mix the resin and hardener in equal parts as per the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Stir slowly for several minutes to avoid bubbles.
  • Divide the epoxy into separate containers for each color.
  • Add pigments to achieve your desired shades (e.g., white for the base, black and gray for veins).
  • Pour the white or base color epoxy onto the table surface.
  • Spread evenly using a trowel or plastic spreader.
  • Allow the base layer to self-level for a smooth foundation.

To mimic marble veins:

  • Drizzle thin lines of black or gray epoxy over the base layer.
  • Use a soft brush or gloved fingers to blend and soften the veins for a natural look.
  • Tilt the table gently to encourage organic flow and patterns.

For a granite effect:

  • Sprinkle small drops of black, gray, and white epoxy across the surface.
  • Use a sponge or brush to dab and blend the colors, creating a speckled appearance.
  • Add metallic pigments or glitter for extra depth and sparkle.
  • Use a heat gun or torch to eliminate air bubbles from the epoxy surface.
  • Hold the heat source a few inches above the epoxy and move it in a sweeping motion.
  • Let the epoxy cure for 24–48 hours in a dust-free environment.
  • Avoid touching or moving the table during this time.

Tips for a Flawless Marble or Granite Epoxy Table

  1. Experiment with Colors: Mix different shades to find the perfect balance for your marble or granite effect.
  2. Practice Veining: Use scrap materials to practice creating natural-looking veins or textures.
  3. Work Quickly: Epoxy has a limited working time, so plan your design in advance.
