Resin Shop Concrete Clear is a ready-to-use, single-pack waterborne urethane system designed to penetrate porous concrete, seal the surface and provide a clear waterproof protective barrier.

The low-viscosity coating penetrates into the pores of concrete and masonry on the initial coat, helping seal the substrate from within. Additional coats build a tough, flexible polyurethane film at the surface for increased resistance to water penetration, staining and general weathering.

Concrete Clear dries to a clear finish, allowing the natural appearance of concrete, pavers and exposed aggregate to remain visible.

Recommended Applications

Concrete Clear is suitable for concrete patios, pathways, pavers, exposed aggregate, masonry, precast concrete, retaining walls, concrete steps, decorative concrete, concrete furniture and other porous mineral surfaces.

Penetrating First Coat + Protective Topcoats

The first application penetrates into the porous substrate, helping seal capillaries and reduce water absorption.

Following coats build a continuous clear urethane barrier over the surface, providing additional waterproofing and protection while maintaining the natural appearance of the concrete.

For highly porous concrete, additional coats may be required until the substrate is fully sealed.

Application

The surface must be clean, sound and sufficiently dry, with all dust, grease, oil, curing compounds, laitance and loose material removed.

Apply the first coat evenly and allow Concrete Clear to penetrate the substrate. Avoid allowing excessive material to pond on the surface.

Once dry, apply additional coats to develop the required protective barrier.
