Slow Cure Transom & Hull Filling Epoxy | EP1030
EpoxyPro EP1030 is a slow-curing, low-viscosity 3:1 marine epoxy system designed for transom rebuilds, hull filling, stringer repairs, core void filling and other large-volume marine repairs.
Its extended 6–8 hour pot life at 25°C provides significantly more working time than conventional fast-curing epoxy systems and helps control heat build-up during larger repairs and bulk filling applications.
The low-viscosity formulation flows easily into voids and around reinforcement while providing excellent wetting of timber, fibreglass and composite materials. This makes EP1030 particularly suitable for structural marine repairs where good penetration, extended working time and controlled curing are required.
Once cured, EP1030 forms a strong, durable epoxy suitable for demanding boatbuilding, restoration and marine repair applications.

Technical Features
Mix Ratio: 3 parts resin : 1 part hardener by volume
Pot Life: 6–8 hours at 25°C

Application Recommendations
Surfaces should be clean, dry and properly prepared before application. Remove contamination, loose material, coatings and other substances that may interfere with adhesion.
Accurately measure EP1030 at the specified 3:1 ratio by volume and mix thoroughly before use.
For large-volume fills, cure behaviour and heat generation will depend on ambient temperature, total mixed volume, geometry and pour depth. Very large cavities may require staged applications to control heat build-up.
For marine laminating, coating and general wet lay-up applications where an extended 6–8 hour working time is not required, EP1010 may be the more suitable option.
