EpoxyPro EP7030 Pool & Spa High-Viscosity Structural Pool 2:1

EpoxyPro EP7030 is a heavy-duty, high-viscosity 2:1 epoxy paste system engineered specifically for structural pool shell repairs, vertical and overhead patching, skimmer box anchoring, and underwater sealing. Formulated with a heavy, non-sag body (~15,000–25,000 cP), EP7030 stays exactly where applied without running or slumping off vertical surfaces.

Curing to a tough, translucent light-amber finish, EP7030 forms an impermeable, chemical-resistant structural bond that withstands continuous submersion in chlorinated and saltwater pools. It exhibits exceptional adhesion to damp concrete, rendered pool shells, ceramic tiles, and composite fibreglass—making it the essential repair mortar for swimming pool contractors and pool maintenance specialists.

Key Features & Performance

  • Heavy-Body Non-Sag Paste (~15,000–25,000 cP): Thixotropic paste consistency allows precise vertical and overhead rebuilding without slumping.
  • Damp & Immersed Surface Adhesion: Tenacious bond strength directly to damp concrete, tiles, skimmer plastics, and fibreglass pool shells.
  • Chlorine, Salt & Chemical Resistant: Formulated to resist continuous pool chemicals, salt chlorination, acid wash treatments, and UV exposure.
  • High Mechanical & Structural Strength: Excellent dimensional stability and tensile bond strength for load-bearing step and fitting repairs.
  • Thixotropic Paste Modification: Easily blended with fumed silica (cab-o-sil) or fine silica sand to create thick, non-slump repair putties for deep void fills.
  • Simple 2:1 Mix Ratio: Easy 2 parts Resin : 1 part Hardener (by volume) with a tack-free time of 4–6 hours @ 25°C.

Ideal Applications

  • Structural and cosmetic repair of concrete pool shells, spa linings, and hydrotherapy tubs
  • Rebuilding damaged pool steps, coping edges, and bench seating prior to flow coating
  • Vertical and overhead patching of spalled concrete render without runoff
  • Bonding skimmer boxes, underwater lights, main drains, and pipe penetrations
  • Under-water sealing and tile re-pointing in fully immersed aquatic environments
