Catalyst & Curing
K1017MV requires a compatible methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) catalyst to initiate curing.
The gel-time figure above is based on testing with 2% Andonox LCR-S at 25°C. Actual working and curing times will depend on ambient temperature, laminate thickness and catalyst conditions.
Always follow the current technical data sheet and safety data sheet when selecting catalyst type and dosage.
Why Choose K1017MV?
When conventional polyester resins are not sufficient for demanding chemical, marine or industrial applications, K1017MV offers an enhanced-performance alternative.
Its combination of chemical resistance, mechanical performance and practical laminating characteristics makes it a versatile choice for professional fibreglass fabricators and industrial manufacturers.
